Night 47: West Wing, North Hall 2-B
[From here]
"And just out of curiosity, what sort of evidence are you referring to?" Recluse asked S.T., making for the door to the decontamination room. Rather than remove the bolts, he gave himself a little space, and with one hard kick broke the door open. With such meager strength it required a certain amount of concentration to manage without causing injury to himself--normally an unthinkable situation--but he managed it with only a minimum of discomfort that he could easily hide.

S.T. was cautiously optimistic on the last.

As they passed the door, Mele noted that it seemed to be broken, and leaned over to examine it. Locked? But then doors here weren't the heavy stone of the Rinju Den cells, or even the heavy wood of everywhere else. But Rinju Den's locks tended to be thicker, too.
"And what's your name, anyway?" she said as she straightened, "Or should I just call you 'Tall Guy'?"

There were two doors in this area; one nearby and one further up ahead. He had taken the first door the last time, yet hadn't gone much further beyond. He might as well take the one further ahead in the hallway this time and see what was located there, so he continued walking down the corridor.
"I am Yakushiji Tenzen," he eventually answered. "And what might yours be?"
Reaching the door in question, he noticed it to be locked. However, a simple locked door would hardly stop one of the Ten Chosen Iga, especially if the lock appeared as weak as it did. Though not the most stealthy manner (he could if he wanted, but entering the next area undetected was hardly of any relevance), the door opened quickly with the use of the axe he carried.

It looked like the patients who'd gotten ahead of them had already disappeared into one of the rooms around here. Harvey wasn't going to bother hypothesizing over who had gone where. If they ended up running into anyone, they would deal with it then. Lana seemed like the diplomatic sort, so maybe she'd be able to pull her weight after all.
Seeing how he and Jason had gone through this first door already, Harvey was more interested in going further down the hallway. It didn't take him long to reach the end of the corridor, and as he found another door he used his flashlight to examine the lock. It was already broken.
"Looks like someone beat us here," he muttered to the woman as he held back a sigh. He had lost a lot of his desire to deal with people after the injury, so he wasn't looking forward to this.

Inelegant. She couldn't have been awake more than an hour or so, and she was already gaging a break-in from the viewpoint of a criminal. Hmm. Maybe that was all Mr. Dent had meant by former -- fear changed people. Took them and turned them inside out and made it impossible to go back, only forwards.

They got "lucky". The door, if Rolo remembered right, was immediately to their left, and the lock was broken. Damnit, what if the group who beat them to it was Stephen and Linda after all? It wasn't a game or anything, but Rolo hoped they were done and already left. He was serious when he said he wasn't in the mood for stupid shenanigans tonight.
"... Tch," He clicked his tongue audibly anyway to show his disappointment (or annoyance. It might have been difficult to tell which) as he looked around for a moment to make sure the hallway was clear before nudging the door open, taking a step back to make sure nothing was waiting for him on the other side.
If only he didn't break his bat on that guy's... yeah. If there was nothing useful as a weapon in that storage, he was going to have to make a detour to the activity shed again to grab another bat. That actually would have been the smart thing to do at the beginning of the night, but as it was, he wasted enough time.
"Someone beat us there," He warned Greta once more, not sure what he intended to do with this information, or if it was even worth worrying about. Better safe than sorry though.

Ange crossed her arms against her chest, eyes narrowing in thought. Most of her cared little about the outcome, but a part did like things going smoothly. "Maybe we'll be lucky," she commented, "and you'll still get what you're looking for."
Or perhaps they will have no such luck and will have their hands full. Only time would tell.

Standing around moping would accomplish nothing either though, so Rolo nudged the door open and made his way into the next room.

As Tanaka approached the turn-off for the decontamination rooms, it became clear that the "locked" door was no longer anything of the sort. Apparently other groups had gotten here first... which was good in the sense that people were making it this far, but bad in the sense that what they wanted might already be gone.
After peeking through the doorframe to make sure there wasn't anyone waiting on the other side, he looked back to ZEX and Hayes and motioned for them to follow him through.
