night 45: F-A block hallway.

( from here. )

So far, so good. Once Bella’s hand touched the corner of the wall, she followed it slowly, her feet stumbling over themselves for a few seconds before she finally got her footing. “Stupid ... disorientating darkness,” she muttered to herself, her cheeks flushed from the thought of falling. That certainly wasn’t high up there on her list of things to do tonight.

Oh well.

Pressing forwards, Bella found another door and pushed it open.

Here we go, she thought to herself. And stepped into the empty hallway.

Easing the door open as silently as she could, which wasn't very silently at all, Asuka poked her head out, side to side, and quickly flicked her flashlight from one end of the hallway to another. She found that her door wasn't the only one hanging open.

Creepy.

The closest wall and, subsequently, door was to her right. Flashing her light once more down the hallway, she kept it low and flickering, not wanting to give the staff a bigger target to come after than she needed to. Emergency training 101. Though, she supposed it was highly unlikely medical staff had guns on them, but, well, after the shit she had seen since coming to Japan, Asuka decided anything was plausible. She crept down the hall, doing her best to cushion the sound of her sneakers as she came to a new door.

Asuka looked back every few steps to make sure no one followed her out of the the last door. Thankfully, the hallway was, as far as she could tell, empty with the exception of her and her light bobbing down the hallway.

She flashed the light to her left when the hallway opened up into another corridor, but finding no doors on the opposite wall, the second child continued straight.

Not long after, she came to another door and hoped her luck was better this time as she opened it.
