Day 45: Intercom, Dusk
The intercom came on with its usual jingle.
"Hello, everyone, and I hope you enjoyed your meal and your new roommates! I'm certainly ready to head home, so I will simply ask our nurses to collect our scheduled patients for their late-night Special Counseling and leave you with my most sincere pride over all the progress you've all made. Good night, and sleep well!"
The intercom clicked off.
