Nightshift 43: General Storage
[From here.]
The lock gave way on the third impact, giving access to the room. Edgar turned his light around, shining it into the darkness. Boxes of various supplies were illuminated, several catching the machinist's attention. Oh, the ideas of what he'd be able to do with some of these implements were extremely encouraging.
He turned his light to his companion. "After you, milady," he said, addressing the threshold with a flourishing hand.

"You sure are a gentleman-type, huh?" she commented as she stepped inside, sweeping her light around to see her surroundings. It was a pretty simple room with boxes and cabinets holding a number of supplies. They cast long, distorted shadows across the room, but the fireworks master hardly cared about that.
She pulled one out and kneeling next to it. It took her a moment to figure out what to do with her light, but eventually clasped it under her arm before she began rummaging through the box's contents.

Noting that she went straight for the boxes, he decided to take a look into one of the cabinets. As soon as he'd opened it, he spotted a pair of goggles. "Well, hello," he said to the accessory, taking it and placing its strap around his neck. Not a fantastic treasure to most, but he'd certainly find a good use for it.
As he closed the cabinet doors, he noticed something even more interesting in the corner- three small, cylindrical tubes of some sort with pressure gauges. He knelt next to them, trying to get a better look. "You finding anything of use?" he asked his companion.

The second box seemed to be a little more useful; a first-aid kit. Not really what she was looking for, but she guessed it would come in handy. She raised to her feet and glanced at what Gerad had found. Some strange tubes of some sort it seemed. Being curious, she walked over.
"The hell are those?"

He shined his light around, trying to devise a way to transport the cylinders. Carrying them would be possible, but he'd welcome an easier method.

"If you can't even carry 'em, try using that instead!" she said, pointing towards the folded wheel chairs.

"The point is that these things have a great potential to be handy to us," he said as he tried to judge how hard it would be to push the chair with two tanks in it. No real telling until he'd tried, so he made his way toward a second cylinder. "Compressed gas is excellent for- umph- powering certain machines." He eased the tank into the chair next to its twin. "Alternatively, if we'd rather make a dangerous mess of things, we could probably turn this into a decent, impromptu weapon, or maybe even an explosive."

"Let's get goin' to the next room already! There are more places to be raided to night, got it?"
