On the last strike of Meche's, Falis shifted the spear in her own hands from a thrusting position to bring the non-pointed end down across her body to block it. She grinned.

"Blocking." She kept her body in the position it was, the spear diagonally across her body after she had guided Meche's spear to the side away from her target. "The important part about blocking is keeping your balance and making sure your spear covers as much of your body as you can when doing so."
