Dayshift 22; First Shift; Sun Room
As always, Tamaki woke up in his bed. He didn't know how he got there, but he woke up still in the clutches of fear he last remembered from the night. The fight in the hallway, Ed and Adel, the thing...
He was out of bed immediately, determined to make sure his friends were alright. He listened to the man on the intercom, not liking the idea of some big surprise. He didn't imagine any surprises could be good. And he hoped his friends felt the same way...
When his nurse came to get him, he chose the Sun Room instead of the chapel. He wanted no part of whatever was going to happen. He only hoped that Ed and Adel had the same idea....
They probably didn't. Agitated and worried, Tamaki paced along the window, hands behind his back, and waited.

A shiver ran down his spine as the other’s lips touched his cheek, and again, he had to stop himself from pulling away. At Seimei’s words, he laughed deep in his throat and moved his hand around to the back of Seimei’s head, pushing his fingers through the other’s hair and taking a hold of them in a light grip.
“I don’t take what I can. I take what I want, when I want.” He gave the strands of hair in his grasp a small tug. “Those who try to stop me learn very fast that the consequences of doing so can be…deadly.”

"What do you want, then?" He leaned in, close, so very close. There was a risk, that Yazoo might do him harm, but he wasn't worried. Pain was acceptable; anything that kept the blood running, that reminded him that he hadn't died somewhere along the way.

The next question was actually one he had to stop and think about for just a second, and idly he began to rub the spot at the base of Seimei’s skull. He actually didn’t mind being touched, something he wasn’t afraid to admit out loud. “It depends on who the other person is. Take, for example,” he gestured over to Barret with a wave of his hand,” that man in the wheelchair. If he were to ever lay a finger on me, he’d instantly regret it.”
Tilting his head slightly, he placed a finger on his chin as if thinking about his answer for Seimei’s third question, finally saying with a small shrug of his shoulders, “Nothing.” He dropped his arm, letting it rest on his crossed legs again. “There’s nothing I want.” Except to find Mother.

"For now, the sun is warm and the company is pleasant. And if you want for nothing, then that should be enough to bring contentment in you."
