Dayshift 22; First Shift; Sun Room
As always, Tamaki woke up in his bed. He didn't know how he got there, but he woke up still in the clutches of fear he last remembered from the night. The fight in the hallway, Ed and Adel, the thing...
He was out of bed immediately, determined to make sure his friends were alright. He listened to the man on the intercom, not liking the idea of some big surprise. He didn't imagine any surprises could be good. And he hoped his friends felt the same way...
When his nurse came to get him, he chose the Sun Room instead of the chapel. He wanted no part of whatever was going to happen. He only hoped that Ed and Adel had the same idea....
They probably didn't. Agitated and worried, Tamaki paced along the window, hands behind his back, and waited.

unless it was Woltar telling him, not that he'd admit it."That sounds like the thing you would do, fool!" Albel mocked at Cliff's comment. And who would run off with one of the wenches here anyway? Besides desperate worms, that is.

They really couldn't last five minutes without antagonizing each other.
It seemed to be written into their testosterone.Cliff decided he didn't really care why Albel was such an ass - he was starting to doubt that Albel even needed a reason.Fayt cut in again and Cliff raised an eyebrow, slightly incredulous. He could just imagine the teenager trying to tower over the two of them holding a rolled up newspaper to go along with his scolding. Albel would probably bite him.
"You're pretty bossy for a teenager. Ease up, huh? You'll give yourself an aneurysm." Cliff sat, reclining in one of the single sofa chairs. So that was where he'd been? Cliff didn't really think the nurses would have let that go on but he let it slide for the time being.
Truth be told, he hadn't given the communicator idea much thought since the last time they'd discussed it. Even if they managed to put something crude together, he imagined this place was technologically advanced enough to block the signal. The replicator was a bit iffy too. "It's gonna be tough getting it all together. They know what we're capable of and they don't exactly leave parts like that lying around."

Before the captain could react to Fayt, the maggot already continued talking. Albel growled in reply, glaring daggers. As for the current discussion, it wasn't like Albel could add much to it. He didn't really know much about technology, and he wasn't going to make himself look interesting by pretending he did. In fact, he wasn't even interested to begin with.
And even if they did manage to put something together, who said it'd work? In Albel's eyes, it was better to look for a way out on the old fashioned way. And perhaps get rid of the Head Doctor while he was at it. So perhaps if they were going to put something together, weapons would be a better idea.
So, for once, Albel had to agree with Cliff. Parts wouldn't be easy to find.
"Assuming we'd find those parts, what if it doesn't work?" A perfect waste of time, in other words. "Weapons would be more useful."

He was working on the weapon situation. Albel seemed to handle himself just fine with the weapon he had, which left Cliff to hunt down gauntlets and Fayt to make do with the knives he'd collected. He nodded at Albel, another great feat. "Useful to get out of here, yeah, but we've got to think about what comes after that. From the hints we've got, it's not exactly Happy Fun Rainbow Land out there."
Fayt's suggestion brought the grin back. He'd been disappointed by his own doctor - nice guy, but not useful in a way that made a different yet.
"Now you're talkin'. Is she hot? Do you remember where her office is? We might as well check it out tonight." His new-found enthusiasm was mostly due to the fact that things were starting to look a little promising. "We can decide on what we're gonna try for when we see what we've got to work with."

Come to think of it, what did they do with the patients belongings once said patient had arrived here? They had to store it somewhere, right?
"If the outside is as you think it is, we'll need weapons either way, fool!" Albel commented. If there are monsters inside, they must be out there as well. His knife wouldn't do much damage to something big.
Albel considered Fayt's suggestion. He supposed it couldn't hurt to try, it wasn't like he had any other place to go just yet. His doctor wasn't very useful either. The only thing the worm had was a cane and a sharp tongue. And a few odd devices, but he doubted that those things would help them much.
"Then we might as well bring that maggot's office a visit tonight." he said. "I remember where my own doctor's office was, hers shouldn't be that far off." It seemed that paying attention to where those wenches were escorting you payed off in the end.

Speaking of which...Cliff made a face at Fayt's description. There was a thought to make his skin crawl. "I'll pass."
As for the meeting place, he shrugged. It saved a lot of time if no one had to go running up and down the hallways playing Marco Polo. "Fine with me. What're your room numbers anyway? It looks like things got switched around this morning."

"Hmph, the entrance to the Hall seems fine to me." Albel frowned at Cliff's comment. "Those maggots put an extra bed in my room this morning. It appears I've gotten a room mate." he made a face, Albel liked his privacy. He also had no idea who his room mate was. Hopefully, the worm wasn't too annoying.
"It's M56" he replied to Cliff's question.
