Dayshift 22; First Shift; Sun Room

As always, Tamaki woke up in his bed. He didn't know how he got there, but he woke up still in the clutches of fear he last remembered from the night. The fight in the hallway, Ed and Adel, the thing...

He was out of bed immediately, determined to make sure his friends were alright. He listened to the man on the intercom, not liking the idea of some big surprise. He didn't imagine any surprises could be good. And he hoped his friends felt the same way...

When his nurse came to get him, he chose the Sun Room instead of the chapel. He wanted no part of whatever was going to happen. He only hoped that Ed and Adel had the same idea....

They probably didn't. Agitated and worried, Tamaki paced along the window, hands behind his back, and waited.

She scoffed and scowled.

"It was more like a torture session, really." One with reversed roles, as Larxene was usually the one dealing out the pain instead of receiving it.

"He knew that I didn't have a heart, and focused on that first, by stabbing me with a knife." She pulled down on the neck-opening of her shirt and gave Axel a glimpse of the bandages that had been wrapped around her. "He was stronger than he looked, I didn't expect it to go all the way through."

Letting go, the blonde took a deep breath.

"Someone also told him about my specialty with electricity.”

She withheld the part about being given a shock after being soaked in water. Even though he wasn’t any stronger than the rest of the “patients” there… He was still Axel.

"I wasn't able to get his name, but he said that they knew more about us than we'd be willing to believe.”

If the results of the last night were any indication, those were more than empty words

“Your thoughts on that?”

Funny, Axel always assumed that Larxene enjoyed either role when it came to torture. But the redhead was 'pleasantly' surprised at the woman's utter distaste for what had happened, listening intently to the detail she put and absorbed it all like some kind of sponge.

He looked into the latter's shirt when expected to, contemplating at the sight of bandages that covered her bust. Whoever this person was, they seemed more than happy to go over the top about it. And if there were any detail that Larxene withheld from him it would seem that he hardly noticed it. It was enough information to keep Axel content for the time being, having been used to gathering small bits at a time.

"My thoughts?" He mused. "Well someone certainly did their homework."

It was around that time that the Nobody noticed a familiar figure stepping into the Sun Room and making his way to a corner. And Axel literally had to shove down the urge to leave Larxene hanging and walk over to Roxas. But if he did so his less than desirable reputation amongst the Organization would only continue to dwindle, so in the end he tore his eyes away from the teen and gave the woman his full attention.

"I'm open to the possibility that they know too much, but why they chose you out of all people I can only imagine."

[identity profile] twelveapathy.livejournal.com 2007-02-19 08:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Larxene probably would've enjoyed the role reversal more if she wasn't too busy having breathing difficulties and trying to keep herself from spitting out blood.

“If you’d like, I can always put in a good word for you for the next time they decide to do experimentations. I’m sure you’d rather experience it for yourself rather than hearing the details from me.”

Why she was picked out of all the available members was anybody’s guess. Maybe it was because she was the only woman in the group, or the fact that she was a sadist. Who was to say?

“What about you? What sort of fun-filled activities did you do last night, or since you’ve been here, for that matter.”

She couldn’t help but wonder what a guy like him did to pass the time.

[identity profile] bond-off-lame.livejournal.com 2007-02-20 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
"Could you? I'd love to see it all for myself." Axel smirked and stretched his body back, sighing at the satisfying pops that ran down his spine before making himself comfortable again. Talking to Larxene actually proved to be more enjoyable than he'd expected, especially considering the lack of excitement he'd gotten the previous day.

When the woman asked about his own 'adventures' the Nobody had to chuckle, shaking his head as if she was sharing a joke she'd heard on the streets.

"There's hardly anything 'fun-filled' here. There's not enough to do and too much time to do it in." It was all true in the redhead's opinion, he craved variety and this place just wasn't cutting it for him. Some masochistic part of the Nobody wished that he'd been in Larxene's place last night. Because then he'd at least he'd have something to keep his mind occupied while another week dragged on by.

... Had he even been here for a week? Axel had since lost count.

"So what are your plans when you finally get out of here?"

[identity profile] twelveapathy.livejournal.com 2007-02-20 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
“I’ll see what I can do. Don’t get your hopes up though; I’d hate to ruin your expectations of me.”

She shifted a bit in her chair, but stopped after an attempt at straightening her posture reminded her of the condition of her body, causing her to grimace a bit.

“Well then, I suppose I’ll just have to make my own fun then.” Easier said than done, especially when her ‘fun’ involved hurting others. With so many employees around, keeping all of the ‘patients’ under constant watch, any attempt at having some ‘fun’ wouldn’t last long at all and would be ended with sedation. Though in Larxene’s case, that didn’t sound so bad.

Anyways…

“Plans?” She hadn’t actually thought about that. “Well… If the key bearer really is as strong as you say, then I might have to tell XI, the one I was with before being brought here, about it and see if we can rework our… plan. Though I doubt he’d believe the source of my information, or where I got it in the first place.”

It was her and she was having a hard time swallowing it. Yet after all she’d been exposed to, Larxene knew better than to just ignore what she had learned.

“Then again, he might’ve already been eliminated by Sora, who knows.” The blonde shrugged. She really didn’t seem to care if Marluxia had already met his end. After all, the only reason why she’d agreed to his scheme in the first place was because how fun and exciting the thought of taking over the Organization was.

[identity profile] bond-off-lame.livejournal.com 2007-02-20 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
"Knowing Marluxia, I doubt he'd believe that anything could sabotage his plans. It's amazing how vain he can be sometimes." The man's demise was one that Axel could hardly find any reason to regret about and he found himself grinning at that fact. But Marluxia's appearance in Landel's seemed to put a dent in whatever synthetic happiness Axel could've ever imagined.

"You died before him when the events in Castle Oblivion occurred so good chances are he won’t be when you return." In fact, there was the small possibility that Larxene would probably end up at the exact spot she was taken from. And if that were the case she wouldn't remember anything that happened here.

Axel had to frown at this. It was just a theory, of course, but he couldn't ignore the disappointing consequences regardless.

"I suggest you enjoy this 'vacation' as much as you can," The redhead lazily spoke as he leaned back further. "I doubt the Superior would give us one any time soon."

[identity profile] twelveapathy.livejournal.com 2007-02-22 06:13 am (UTC)(link)
She had to agree with that. For being nothing but an empty shell, XI was quite full of himself.

"Oh well, I suppose our 'Lord' wasn't as strong as we all thought." Frankly, Larxene didn't seem to mind that he would already be dead by the time she'd return to the Castle. He knew the consequences of his actions should they have not gone as planned, after all.

A pity she wouldn't be there to see him defeated by the keyblade master though.

"Some vacation." She scoffed at Axel's comparison. "There's no pool, the food isn’t five-star at all, and the room service just plain sucks."

Stiffling a yawn, she crossed her arms and began to think about their illustrious leader.

"Hey, wouldn't it be something if they managed to bring the Superior here?"

[identity profile] bond-off-lame.livejournal.com 2007-02-23 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
"A woman's needs are so much more complicated." Axel sighed at Larxene's laundry list of complaints, shifting in his seat for the 10th time in the past 5 minutes. Green eyes glanced out the window and the redhead guesstimated that the orderlies were close to moving them over to the next shift.

"It really would be something." Though not something the redhead would be looking forward to. He had no qualms if their Superior had come from a time prior to the whole incident with Roxas. But if he they were unfortunate enough to come across one after his death...

"But speaking of the Organization, have you seen any of the others? Other than II, VII and X of course." Axel found it peculiar that there'd be no trace of them after all the opportunities.

[identity profile] twelveapathy.livejournal.com 2007-02-23 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
“Well, I saw dear XIII after I was finished with my doctor session a couple of days ago. He was talking to the keyblade master. I exchanged pleasantries with each of them before taking my leave."

Larxene made a mental note about needing to talk to them again, preferably when they weren’t around each other…

"V and VI showed up after you left the meeting-that-never-happened.” What a waste of a perfectly good night. “I didn't pay much attention to them. Although watching Zexion get hit in the face with a door was quite amusing." Speaking of which, where was he? She hadn’t heard from him ever since. The same applied for Lexaeus.

No matter, they would turn up sooner or later. Well, V would. VI was so small that she would probably walk past him and not even notice.

"Oh, I saw our Lord in that meeting too, but we haven't spoken much." A lie. The two of them had actually scheduled a reunion of their own for last night. It was a detail that nobody needed to know about, especially Axel.

She would have to get in touch with XI again, yes.

[identity profile] bond-off-lame.livejournal.com 2007-02-23 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Well XIII was easy to spot enough, and Axel stole another glance at the blond in the corner before nodding. He listened intently to the locations of the others, finding it ill convenience that he'd seen none of them for the past few days. Call it paranoia or not, Axel preferred to keep tabs on all of the members.

He was about to reply when the intercom went off, the announcement dragging on longer than usual and he sat back to listen to the whole thing before it was silence once more.

And right on cue Axel's Nurse came by, that ever-cheery smile on her face.

"Let's take you to the Cafeteria, Mr. Flynn. And maybe this time your food wont end up in the toilet like last time." The Nobody sighed before standing up and giving Larxene a charming smile.

"It's been a pleasure catching up. So to you, my lady, adieu." And then he was gone.

[identity profile] twelveapathy.livejournal.com 2007-02-23 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
She couldn't help but roll her eyes at his words. "Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to speak with you. I'm look forward to our next chat." Maybe, or maybe not. It depended on how she was feeling.

As Axel left, another nurse came by for Larxene. She glared at the woman before reaching for her crutches and allowing herself to be taken to the cafeteria.

How long would it be before she could walk under her own strength again?
