Night 41: M51-60 Hallway
Recluse had used his uneventful dinner as time to hammer out and sharpen a new blade for Scourge, and do maintenance on the rest of his own weapons, then changing into his black Arachnos officer's uniform, ready for the night. Then, it had simply been a matter of waiting, impatiently as always, for the doors to unlock.
At least that pompous fool didn't lecture them all that long-windedly tonight. He slipped out into the hallway as soon as his door was unlocked, red eyes glowing dimly in the pitch black corridor.

The incident in the showers that afternoon and Kaito’s antics during dinner were put to the back of his mind given what had transpired on the bulletin board and all it’d revealed. So some nice bystander had wanted to tip him off about a bounty hunter coming to kill him that evening, hm? A hired hand. It was amusing to the predatory side every vampire possessed, enough so that dinner was spent eating mechanically while the concept kept him entertained. A mere bounty hunter, sent to kill him? Out of all of the trials Landel’s Institute set in front of him, threats made by fellow prisoners were the least of his concern, even if the person on the other end of that exchange was the employer, or the bounty hunter, or even if there were three of them and they all were, for whatever reason, looking to harm him. He wasn’t worried.
Irony, however, was layered thick over the idea. He’d come close to hiring a bounty hunter to sniff around vampire wannabes, and now the noble apparently had one sniffing around him. Was it connected? Aidou couldn’t be sure; Bella and her freak friends hadn’t shown their faces for some time, and the ex-human Evangeline couldn’t have known about it. That someone had recognized him for what he was and was now attempting to dispose of him was a possibility. Or someone who’d been biding their time for a while. He couldn’t be sure. A joke, even, to lure him out for some other reason? Treating the information as a real, genuine warning was difficult, as his helper seemed utterly oblivious to their own position.
The vampire would have to wait and see… see what happened that night, see what happened tomorrow. Aidou disliked not being able to see into the heart of the matter immediately, but the situation wasn’t dire enough for him to change his plans and investigate further. Would he actually go to M101? Yeah, right. Definitely not.
If someone was moronic enough to attack him during the course of the night, they had better pray they knew who they were facing.
When it was time, Aidou dressed, donning the dark shift of his Night Class uniform and his dark pair of pants. The white of his Night Class uniform would be fitting, but bold. Because he was confident, not a confident idiot, he left it alone, and put his radio away in a pocket before preparing to leave. Kaito appeared obliging, but the vampire wasn’t taking chances in that regard. He locked the door and with a hand on its surface, called ice into the locks and hinges in such a way that even if Kaito unlocked the door, it wouldn’t open any time soon. There.
As for the hall itself, Sasuke wasn’t present. The vampire moved on.
