Night 40: Intercom, End of Night
As an odd contrast to the beginning of night, when the intercom came on (and the sound of the speakers turning on would be recognizable to any patient who was working against the unreliable clock) there was almost complete silence.
Then, without warning, there was a sharp pierce of painful static, like feedback, and then all the speakers shut off simultaneously.
