Nightshift 40: Pharmacy
[from here]
The pharmacy was much the same as Javert had left it last night, except that the drugs had clearly been restocked. All the better for him.
Pulling the folded pillowcase out of his greatcoat pocket, he surveyed the shelves. The beam of his flashlight flickered again as he scanned them, and he frowned in mild irritation. Too damned difficult to tell if there was anything hiding in here. He'd have to make this quick.
Diphenhydramine, S.T. had said, and amoxicillin, whatever the hell they were. Javert located the latter and swept half the bottles in the tray into the pillowcase. With luck, he'd find the former before his flashlight gave out.

He froze instinctively, listening for any movement that wasn't his own, before feeling his way back to the door through memory and instinct. It wasn't a good idea to remain in a closed space when he couldn't see what was going on, and it would take a while before his eyes adjusted.
