Using a journal to store all her information wasn't a method Naoto used much-- she trusted her mind enough, and all her jobs were with the police force anyway. They were the ones who kept everything to know on a case, all there for her to access when needed... so long as she was still in the investigation team at the time. But that didn't mean Naoto couldn't do it, and she had no opinion on whether Utena thought she was a better note taker or not.
