Somewhat impressed and grateful that there was not one single direct question from three people, Armand still chose to answer TK's question, even though he wasn't compelled to do so. The discussion he'd had with Citan the other day indicated that someone would have to take some initiative, and Armand knew exactly what he and TK needed. He didn't think Alec would object either.
"The main order of the night is weapons, I believe. I signed up to have a sword made, so I am not too worried about myself, but I would like... TK here to have something other than a small stick for monster-fighting." He still couldn't call him Morrison out loud. How sad. Well, at least he didn't have to use the numbers. There was only one TK here.
"We can talk as we walk, if people don't mind," he said. "The only place I know of to find anything of value is upstairs, and it's that way." He pointed back toward the main hallway, where there were stairs. And went in the direction he pointed with some seeming of confidence. It was only a few steps and there was at least one light around them now.
