Nightshift 37; M35 (Clinic)
Tamaki wasted no time at all in setting out their supplies and hanging the sign for the clinic. Since Ed was coming by to collect him - which made it sound terribly like a date - he wanted to do everything he could for preparation before he talked to the new people coming. Hopefully they'd be here shortly....
He did feel guilty slipping off to spend the night with Ed and Adel, but...well, Raine had been insistent that he take care of himself. And it had been so long since the three of them spent any time together.
Besides, they'd be fine. Everyone else was far more experienced than Tamaki was, and his being gone for one night to finish recovering wasn't going to make much of a difference.
And perhaps tomorrow they could sit down and talk about those plans he and Kratos had briefly discussed....

When he reached the doorway with the sign out front, Tony hesitated. He glanced inside and saw only one person, so he looked around to be sure it was alright to go in. He wasn't normally shy, but he'd made enough mistakes here, he didn't want to barge right in.
"Umm... hi," he said. "I'm Tony. I talked to someone on the bulletin board about helping out tonight." He held his pillowcase sake and recorder in one hand and his light in the other.

"I'm technically in charge here, and I have all sorts of books and notes on medicine and broken bones and things like that. I'm still learning myself, but so many people here have experience and are terribly helpful!"

He couldn't remember if Kratos was like Raine, but he thought he might be.
"But we have Miss Raine and Miss Sheena, and Kratos too. And sometimes people will come to help for a night..."

Kratos led Guy to the opposite bed, motioning for him to sit down before gently beginning to undo his handiwork from the previous night: he needed the arm unrestrained for the spell to work properly. "How did the splint work out?" It was an obvious attempt at small talk, but that was better than an awkward silence.

Guy promptly sat when Kratos motioned, setting down his cleaver and then offering over his arm for the other man to see to. He was glad that Kratos would be able to take care of it, since that meant they could get it over with here and now, and he also didn't have to fret over any possible problems that might have been caused by Raine casting the spell.
"Oh, it was great, thanks," Guy responded. Making sure it was a little more secure had helped with the pain slightly, after all.
He had to admit he was curious about how this healing wold work. Considering Kratos could perform the same sword skills that he could, would his healing magic also be similar to the sorts of things Tear and Natalia did?

With Guy's arm free, Kratos was set to cast the spell: "First Aid." He held a hand over Guy's arm and allowed the spell to run its course as it healed the break- mission accomplished.
He backed up and took a deep breath to steady himself: the aftereffects of casting were not fun at all. "That's that, I think. Test it."

Guy kept all of that to himself, though. Right now he needed to focus on the fact that his arm should be back to normal. He shot a worried glance at the other man before nodding and stretching his arm out. It still felt slightly weak, as if it had been strained rather than broken, but it was an enormous improvement.
"That's great!" he exclaimed, grinning at Kratos. "Thanks a lot. I'm going to see if I can get up to the pharmacy tonight to grab some supplies for you guys. Are you all right?" There wasn't much he could do to help if the spell had worn Kratos out, but he did feel bad about it. He would just have to hope that getting those supplies would make up for the trouble he'd caused.

Sheena paused at the doorway, letting Raine go through before her, and then lingered there.
"Hey," she said to the four inside. "Just checking in before we go save people." Risuka was just outside, so Sheena left Raine in the clinic after letting her know she'll be right outside with Ritsuka.

She'd been worried when she saw they apparently had a patient already and she'd missed their arrival, but then she saw that it was Guy... all right, Kratos being the only healer when he came in might be considered a good thing!
Once she was sure M35 was set up and that her bag had hopefully enough supplies, she left; it was strange to only check in, but it should be worth it to get out and about again.

Kaoru peeked into the room before entering. He wasn't sure why he was being careful. Maybe he just didn't want to see an mauled bodies. Least of all Hika- no. No, Hikaru was safe in bed. Kaoru was certain.
Keeping the smile forced on his face, he beckoned Tamaki over to him.
"I need to ask a favour."

"Look. Ritsuka's gone upstairs and... I gave him a mini communicator," he whispered. "But I'm going to Hikaru's room, so I'm too far if anything happens. Will you take this? We need it back by tomorrow and you're not to tell a SOUL about this. Unless you have to. But it's ours ok? We need it back."
He handed the mini comm to his friend with a quick explanation of how to work it.

"Um. Hello?" Miles looked around, a bit nervously, as he entered. "I hate to be a bother, but..."
He'd wait for an answer before continuing.

It was a bit brusque, but unfortunately words weren't his forte.

It had taken a little more effort to remember which room number the clinic was than it had been to find the hall, but Chopper soon peeked his head inside of room M35.
He didn't see Raine, but that blonde boy that had been there yesterday was there, so Chopper figure that this was probably the right room. It looked the same, at least, but all of the rooms looked similar.
"U-um, hello," he said nervously to the room at large, skittering off to a corner of the room and setting down his bag of supplies. It didn't look like they really had any patients yet, but everyone was probably busy. He didn't want to interrupt.

Tamaki gave Ed the 'one moment' signal before rushing down to greet the latest newcomer. My they were terribly busy!
"Hello!" Tamaki said, brightly. "What can we do for you tonight?"
no subject
"Oh, um, I'm not... I'm not a patient," he said nervously. Why wasn't Raine here tonight? He supposed he would have to meet the others who worked at the clinic (assuming that's what this boy did) sooner or later, but he would have felt a little more comfortable if someone he knew was around. "I'd like to help out, if that's okay. I-I talked to Miss Raine about it yesterday."

The clinic seemed pretty crowded, although no-one seemed in immediate danger of death at least. That was reassuring and he didn't feel as guilty about stealing Tamaki away for the night. He slipped into the room, staying near the wall, noticing, with a little surprise, that Claude and Leon were there too.
"Tamaki?" he called out, not wanting to interrupt his conversation. "I'll be here when you're ready."

Finding the right door, Brainiac 5 wasted no time in knocking once out of human social custom then simply pushed open the door to admit himself, Clark, and Kvothe.
"We require medical assistance," he stated matter-of-factly. Realising that their appearances would be misleading - he himself was still soaked with blood and bandaged from where his wounds had been, while Clark was almost as bad from carrying first him then Kvothe - he clarified, "our friend is bleeding badly from puncture wounds to both shoulders, his right hand and the right side of his back. The left shoulder in particular will be worse; the wound was close to the bone."
He moved around to assist Clark with Kvothe, continuing to speak calmly as he did so. "If you have even rudimentary 21st century Earth medical supplies, I should be able to assist you in caring for him." Considering Kvothe's injuries had originally been his own, it was the least he could offer despite his inherent dislike for such primitive technologies and procedures.

Tony had glanced up when the first boy had come in, but he knew he still wasn't going to be much good. Then he heard his name and jumped to his feet. He grabbed his recorder and ran over. "Kvothe? What happened?" He didn't look at the more mobile boy for an answer simply because he didn't know him.
"I know we have some bandages. I'm not trained but... I could help."
He looked back at where Kvothe dangled. "You don't look comfortable up there. Let me help you down."
