He was in such a rush to get there that he almost didn't catch the creature. Thankfully the glowing gave it away in spite of its surprisingly silent motions, and as the claw reached towards his face he rolled back and unsheathed his blade. "Damnit!" he shouted. "I've gone for days without a single one of you bastards, and now twice in as many nights? I don't believe this place!"

Still, it was something he could handle. Just one foe. He feinted with his blade, all the while slowly moving to get closer to the MU hallway. There wasn't time to kill it...as long as he could keep it distracted, he could block the door and make sure he was there to look after Fowl...
