Clark sighed. Was it really that obvious? First Wally pretty much tricking him into spilling more than he wanted to and now even a stranger could read his face like an open book. Was he really that bad at this?

"How come you're called Brainiac 5?" Clark asked. He hoped it wasn't rude to ask, but it'd been bugging him ever since he started to really think about it. That and the way Brainy was suddenly friendly despite the fact that technically, nothing had changed except they knew each other's names. Sneaking another look at him, he really didn't see any thing different from him. He looked as human as he did, except for those three circles on his forehead, and he suddenly thought of something.

If he was as much as alien as him, did that mean he had abilities too?

Did he know about Krypton?

Clark reminded himself not to get his hopes up. Space was big, way bigger than even he probably knew, and Professor Swann had spent years looking for signs of life in the stars, stumbling on the message from Krypton about Clark. If there were other planets out there with people, that didn't mean they knew what happened to Krypton or what its people were like.
