But it wasn’t like Reid had given much thought to Mori’s comfort before, and starting now… really wasn’t going to happen.

He dragged his heel back and rested it against the stand of the closet. Ugh, food. He didn’t care how good they thought their steak was, it smelled the same as the most of the meals had the last few days. That was: shitty and unappetizing. And it wasn’t like his stomach was growling, so not eating hadn’t taken it’s toll on him yet. In Reid’s opinion, he’d worry about his perfect weight range once he had to. Like, passing out or not being able to take a dump.

His Power was the slightly more important problem, anyway.

Watching someone eat wasn’t exactly grade A entertainment, so he looked away in the practiced style of ‘I’m bored’. There was no window to soulfully gaze out of like in the movies; Reid settled for rolling his eyes around the room and finally returning back to the ashes on the floor.
