Edward was still angry when he returned to his room for dinner. He hated dealing with his father, hated it with a passion. He was always so calm, so smug, like he knew the answer to everything. He thought he understood everything about Ed and his life, when he knew nothing. How could he? He hadn't been there for most of it.
He slumped down on his chair when he got into his room, starting to devour the steak. He was hungry. Really hungry. And he'd need his energy for tonight. His weird roommate wasn't back yet at least. He should hurry up before Ed decided to eat his dinner too. At least he had things to do tonight. Meet Hughes and then Adel and he was determined to succeed in making alcohol. A petty goal perhaps, but everyone needed something to take their mind off things.
