Nightshift 35: West Wing, North Hall 2-B

Still keeping in front of Vlad, Sai stepped cautiously into the next area. It was another hallway, which wasn't what the ninja was used to finding when breaking in the doors upstairs. There were two more doors to their left, as revealed by his flashlight, but nothing else.
Grasping the handle on the first door to his left as they entered, Sai found that this too was locked. Considering the poor condition a good many of these doors were in, he began to wonder why they bothered locking them to begin with.
He glanced to Vlad for input on where to go next, not even voicing the question.

It was clear, whatever this young man's occupation had been at home, he was very comfortable with his body... specifically with dealing damage from it. That kick had been precise and even graceful. Hardly one to step in the way of a professional, Vlad lingered behind, although he used the flashlight to scan the halls in case of danger.
Instead of danger, they were offered a choice. He stood at the center of the hall for a few moments as Sai watched him, as though making a deep choice, before gesturing to the far door. "Since we've hit a dead end, let's at least start at the end. If there's nothing interesting we can always head back." Assuming nothing assaulting them.
