The bounty hunter closed her eyes as she heard her name - her real name. It was so rare for her to ever hear it and she basked in the sound of it rolling off of Hokuto's tongue. She laced her fingers with the hand upon hers and opened her eyes, something truly warm and grateful deep within them. It was a look maybe only one or two other people had ever seen.

Falis shifted again and slid more down into the bed, resting her head on Hokuto's chest. She closed her eyes and listened to the girl's heartbeat.
