Nightshift 33: Extra Storage
[From here.]
Kunzite stepped forward carefully, but immediately reared his head backwards and brought his arm up to his nose. A noxious concoction emanating from all sides permeated the room, and while not enough to make him noticeably nauseous, it was at least uncomfortable, at worst disorienting, and not a welcome stimulus in the slightest. Looking about, he found the room to be in almost as much a disarray as the previous...though, seemingly untouched by the other patients, it was a bit better stocked in terms of tools and other general items.
"Your intuition has served us well, Itachi," Kunzite sneered, his lips curling into a smile as he pushed away the cart in the middle of the room to gain access to the walls. "Quickly, gather up more tools; as much as I wish to take that ladder, it would only impede our eventual escape, and it does not seem to be constructed in a way that can be easily undone." Indeed, the ladder was fastened with large deadbolts, something that would require more than a few screwdrivers and hammers to undo.

"Intuition and knowledge are two different things," he commented as he began shoving more tools in his bag. He didn't even know what half of them were; janitorial duties were not among his extensive life experiences. It didn't matter, they would surely be useful.
"Yes, it would not be profitable to take something inconvenient. But we should also take what chemicals we can find in here." He himself was currently busy trying to find room for a crowbar around the bottles in his bag.

Itachi threw some wire and cables in his bag, then also turned to the chemicals, picking up several more bottles. "My bag is becoming rather full. Should we try anywhere else?"

"Yes, let us proceed," he said. Time wasted is worse than anything, he thought, and with that he brushed through the clutter and pushed his way out the door.
