Shan himself was a little disappointed that conversation with his roommate never went very far. Peter seemed like a nice enough guy, all things considered. Also, interrogating the person physically closest to him should have been the first thing he got done though with things the way they were in the daytime...

"Yeah, you... you too." Shawn dropped one hand, leaving the other up in a half-wave. What else could he say to that? "Have fun!" Cheerful tone. Bafflingly cheerful.

Shawn waited a few beats, just until he was sure his roommate was mostly gone. Questions were all well and good but investigation was the theme of tonight's romp and Shawn was going to do his damnedest to make the most of it.
