Night Shift 32: Main Hallway 2-Center (Includes Sun Room halls)
[running from here]
John grabbed Wolfram's arm and ran, his flashlight bouncing around in his grip. He needed to get a grip. He couldn't freak out. Freaking out led to rash decisions and he couldn't afford those at the moment. It didn't help that he kept hearing his mother hurrying him on in his head.
Run, John! You don't stop! You always run!
"Yeah, yeah, run... I got it, but where?" he said to no one as he paused only a moment before dragging Wolfram down to the right, aiming for the doors across from him. "Let's hope my good luck holds out and one of those doors is open."

The servant turned his mind onto the more pressing issues. At least the girl--and she looked incredibly young--was holding relatively steady, even having apparently met the instigator back there. Not knowing for sure himself, it wasn’t easy to explain things. “I don’t know how much you’ve been told already, but there are many cruel experiments here. That,” he continued, looking down through the rails of the balcony, “was someone who was taken away at dinner and psychologically influenced into following the Head Doctor’s orders for the night. Pitted against the people who come across him until morning, when he’ll be back to normal.” He looked back to Melissa, seeing if such a ridiculously summarized explanation would even mean anything to her.
There was so much more to it than that. The how, the why, the where, the danger to the other prisoners, the effect it had on the brainwashed person once it wore off…
Quietly, he pointed in the direction of the chapel and said, “It should be the big open door there.”
