As much as Crane hated to admit that it could be true, his conversation with Light during lunch had only cemented what he'd heard from GLaDOS and, briefly, Harley. The more he thought about the predicament he was in, the more it fouled his mood, even more so since he knew he had absolutely no idea what he was going to do this first night.

He didn't know the layout as well as he would have in Arkham, but it was also dangerous to go out to get used to it without a meat shield because of the monsters. At least he had a good idea of what kinds of things to expect, but that wouldn't do him much good without anything to strike back with. Then there was the problem that only one hand worked for him, thanks to GLaDOS. It was an absolutely wonderful situation to be in, and Crane was firmly convinced that he would have rather gotten caught, beaten by the Bat again, and stuck back in Arkham. At least then he would have been less likely to get a fork stuck through his hand, and he definitely wouldn't have had to worry about any monsters.

For now, though, he had to try and think of something productive to do during the night. Instead of going to the Music Room, Crane opted to stay in the Sun Room, attempting to relax on one of the couches and think up what to do about this mess.
