Nightshift 30: Men's Bathrooms (M41-M80)
[From here.]
Feeling out of sorts, Robin felt a few splashes of water ought to liven him up. He was sure the potion injected in him before should have worn off and could only guess they had decided to poison his evening meal as an extra precaution against his wiley ways. Ho ho, good luck to them. He was still standing, just...not as sturdy as usual.
Robin wandered to the nearest sink (such an amazing advance in plumbing and hygiene!) and lay down his tools for the night, with the torch shining it's light over the faucet. Robin turned the tap and placed his hands under the flow of clean water. He'd learned recently that you could control the temperature and even store the water in the sink by blocking the hole at the bottom with the appropriate doodah thingy that was on a chain. One tap ran hot, the other ran cold. Combine they could create a pool of warm.
Robin hadn't really had a chance to play in the bathroom peacefully until now...

Guy had been expecting the bathroom to be empty (of other patients, at least - monsters were another story), since he didn't see why people would be spending their time in the bathrooms when there was so much else to do at night. For that reason, he halted in place when he saw the man at the sink. His heart did start beating a little faster for a second there, but he figured it made sense to be on edge in this place.
The uniform quickly assured him that it was just another patient, and he turned to Luke and nodded to indicate that it was safe before taking a few steps inside.
"I'll keep guard while you clean up," he said to Luke before glancing to the stranger. "Sorry for bothering you. We shouldn't take too long."

That brought fond memories back for Luke. He used to play in the sink too, back when he didn't really know what it was. He couldn't blame the guy for being fascinated.
"Yeah, just give me a moment." Luke tossed the bloodied shirt in a nearby wastebasket before heading towards the sinks, quickly turning on the water and splashing the water over his face, rubbing away at the dried blood caked under his nose and around his lips.
Good thing there wasn't enough light for him to see his reflection. Luke knew he must have looked horrible.

"You're not bothering me," he chuckled. He splashed his face a few more times and shook his head like a dog to shake off the excess wet.
"You boys alright?" Robin frowned, as he turned to look at them properly. "There's a clinic in one of the rooms, would you like me to take you there?" They seemed old enough to take care of themselves, but you couldn't tell with this place. Some worlds were used to danger, some weren't.

"Oh, it's fine," he assured the man (another redhead), pulling up a hand to wave him off. "It's not that serious." That was a bit of a lie, and Guy realized that he was parroting the same words that Luke kept insisting to everyone, but there was no reason to get someone else involved in their business.
He was interested in the mention of a clinic, though. "But would you mind telling me more about that clinic? This is the first I've heard of it."

Depending on who was running this "clinic", maybe Luke could actually benefit from visiting it. Not that he was getting his hopes up about it, but maybe at the very least someone might have known what they did to him... and how long its side effects were going to last.

"Ah, well, it's located in M35, up the other end of the long corridor. Run by Lord Tamaki Suoh. A regal boy with...no battle experience whatsoever. But I'm sure he's doing well with his clinic. I've heard good things, anyway. I just never get the chance to pop by, you know how it is."
The wonderful people who created the special things here ought to create a time teller you could carry around with you. Either way, he knew it was time he got going.
"If you boys are sure you're alright, I'll head off now. Send my regards to Lord Suoh if you meet him!"
Robin gave the boys a bow and headed back out fo the bathrooms.
[Lame and rushed! Sorry! He's off here (http://community.livejournal.com/damned/300654.html).]

Guy nodded to the man as he left, a little bothered by the fact that he hadn't gotten his name. It probably didn't matter, but loose ends like that could be bothersome.
He glanced back to where Luke was standing at the sink and smiled slightly. "Almost done?" If his friend decided that he wanted to go to M35, he would be up for it, but he got the feeling the redhead was just going to want to go back to one of their rooms.

... Still. It seemed like such a mouthful.
"Thanks! I'll remember that," He thanked the man before he left, thinking it over. It seemed like it was worth stopping by, but at the same time, Luke was a little reluctant. What if he ran into someone who he knew? The redhead believed it was in everyone's best interest if he kept the events of last night personal, at least at the moment. Until he knew what really happened.
"Yeah, I'm done," Luke snapped out of his reverie and nodded at Guy, wiping the excess water off of his face with some hastily grabbed toilet paper. Luke would have to get some rest first, before he went poking his head around. A good night's rest always helped any injury he had!
"That clinic sounds pretty helpful, but... you know, I'm fine. Still, it's worth telling the others if they don't already know," Luke said, confirming Guy's thoughts. "Anyway, we should get going."

Either that, or Jade was just as unreal as usual. Guy still had to wonder if he'd had some sort of cooling system built into his outfit, but now wasn't the time to get onto that train of thought.
"All right. My room, right?" Guy started for the door, holding his arm out to indicate that Luke could lean against him for support if he needed to. He knew that his friend would be more willing to accept the offer if no words were exchanged.
