Feeling relieved, Shana gave Kyon an encouraging smile, and flashed Tamaki an apologetic one. She knew he was trying very hard to help, and she truly did appreciate it. She just wasn't sure they should be treating Shadow like a rent tunic when none of them here had the required skills, herself included.

"If you can see to his arm, I'll take care of his shoulder," she spoke to Kyon, giving him the permission he seemed to be waiting for.

Shifting around the bed, she met Shadow's gaze and gave him a crooked smile. "You just got jealous of all the attention I got the other night, didn't you?" she teased him mildly, giving him something to distract himself with as she leaned over his bleeding shoulder and began to carefully clean it with whatever potion was in the small bottle, knowing it would sting as before.
