The dinner conversation had definitely helped Sora's mood (not that it usually needed that much help in the first place), since it seemed like Kairi was doing a lot better. She had also refrained from signing up for Arts and Crafts assignments this nightshift, which meant that she would be taking it easy. Though he still hadn't gotten the chance to talk to Renji about Nowe, and he knew that when they did at breakfast tomorrow he might come out of the conversation feeling a lot worse.
He would cross that bridge when he came to it, though. For the moment, he needed to focus on his Arts and Crafts task. He was excited that he was going to be working with Rena again - he hadn't had the chance to see her after that last time on the Recreational Field.
The intercom announcement was disconcerting, especially when the Head Doctor announced that he had killed the radio man so nonchalantly. Did he really mean that?! Sora didn't know much about either man, but after everything Mr. Landel had done to them, this wasn't beyond his ability.
His roommate left without a word and Sora had to hold back a sigh. He felt like he had bad luck with it came to roommates, and was starting to wonder if it was something he was doing wrong. As an only child, he had never had to learn "roommate etiquette" or anything like that, so there was a chance he was offending the people who shared M7 with him without even realizing it.
He would just have to try and patch things up later. Grabbing his flashlight, Sora left his room and started down the hall.
