Nightshift 30: East Wing, North Hall 1-A
[From here.]
Jade was met with more silence as he stepped out of his patient block all together, keeping his senses wide open in case anything was prowling about further downward. It looked as if he had beaten the rush, if but slightly, yet his destination was still far from his grasp.
The Colonel was looking forward to leaving the blocks, having been confined there for the past few days without much to do but wander to aimlessly with his comrades. Yes, a change of pace was in order, much to the point where he hardly felt guilty about it, if at all. He had taken it as part of his responsibility to find some means of escape, and hanging around the sidelines wasn't bound to do anyone any good.
Now that his eyes had fully adjusted to the darkness, Jade quickened his pace and strode forward into the next hallway.

Not exactly busy either, but he thought he could hear sounds ahead, and turned off the flashlight in favor of walking by the light from the windows and staying fairly in the shadows. Invisibility would have been more convenient, but he still wasn't sure how much power he had, and wasn't going to waste it without reason.
Granted, any patient might be liable to think him one of the institute's monsters if they saw him... despite the bedsheet... but considering the way they described humanoid monsters on the board, hopefully said patient would simply get out of his way rather than try and attack. And if not, he had to test his powers on something, a patient wouldn't be much worse a target than a monster.
If things went ideally, he'd head upstairs. The storage rooms up there should yield something plausible for Masters to use as a weapon, when and if he found a need to travel in that form at night. Better yet, it might have answers, although if anything labeled on this map had answers one would expect this place to be somewhat less successful than it apparently still was.
