Light hadn't been too upset that his meeting with Misa had been cut short since he'd managed to tell her most of what he'd needed to, but all the same, he hadn't appreciated being escorted back to his room before he could finish. There was always next shift, though (... lunch, unfortunately, presented another opportunity for Misa to try and rope him into more romantic activities, but again, he could tolerate it), as well as the rest of the day and night ahead of them. As long as he could speak to her again before L did, it wasn't that big a deal.
What was a big deal, however, was that when he got to his room, Sanji seemed intent on having a cigarette for what Light knew had to be at least the second time since they'd started living together. That wouldn't do at all.
Pinching the bridge of his nose, he went to sit on his own bed and said simply, "I hope you don't plan on lighting that."
