Angel didn't blink or shift his focus away from the battle, not surprised in the least by Hitsugaya's words. The captain had every right to be wary. He hadn't tried to stake him immediately, and that was about as much as Angel could ask for.
He looked over at last. "If I ever feed from anyone at all," he replied quietly, "you'd better kill me."
He was about to leave it at that and turn back to the fight, but Hitsugaya's sudden focus on him and subsequent bloody nose caused him to eye the other curiously, his gaze lingering on the trickle of blood for just a split second longer.
