He shook his head, though didn't turn to look at Angel. His eyes were focused on the battle.
"There are always small brawls. People get angry and get in fights. New prisoners rebel against the nurses. Never anything like this..."
Right. And Angel was a vampire. He didn't seem particularly vile of a person, but neither had Aizen. As he spoke, his eyes never left the scuffle. "The fact that you're telling me what you are speaks well for yourself, but I have to warn you. You need to feed, fine. But they'd better be willing subjects...~especially~ if they work with arts and crafts. If you harm any of my men, we'll kill you. That said, I don't plan on treating you any differently from any of the other patients. We have bigger things to worry about."
As much as he didn't want to look away from the riot, knowing what he knew now, he had to get a glimpse of the man's spirit thread. He turned his attention to Angel briefly, focusing on the spirit threads that always lay hidden on the edge of his vision. It stung, but eventually he had them. Angel's thread was definitely not human, but there was something odd about it...something he had never seen before.
Good. That would make it easy to track.
His nose started to bleed, and he stopped focusing. He had a headache now, but it would fade in time. How sad that even such a simple thing hurt so much in this place.
Wiping the blood from his nose, he turned his attention back to the battle.
no subject
