Nightshift 29: Staff-Only Food Counter

Light glinted off from the long metal counter after the door opened and they entered. Slowly moving around the counter, Yuber ran the tips of his fingers over the cool surface. There didn’t appear to be anything of interest in this room, and he set his focus on the next door. Reaching out he took hold of the rusted lock. It wouldn’t take much to break it by the looks of it.

“We’ll need to continue through here.” Releasing it Yuber stepped back and glanced towards Zelnick.

Ah, breaking locks! Though Zelnick had only been here-- a few hours? Less?-- he had already had the pleasure of doing so several times. Smilingly, he hefted his flashlight and stood before the door; a few good thwacks took the lock off completely, and he pushed into the next room.
