Daemon paid little attention to any of the doors he passed, taking no time to watch where he was going or check if there was anyone or anything in his way. His attention was completely focused on that one distant pulse, which was growing ever closer. He could feel her, she wasn't far away. After all this time.
It was all he could do not to just spend his magic and take down the walls that separated him from her in order to be there more quickly.

Raine wasn't always the most talkative person, especially here (aside from when she was explaining something... or in Ruins Mode), but it occurred to her that she was being even quieter than usual, to the point that she was probably worrying Reinforce... she thought for a moment that she should reassure her friend, but realized there was nothing to say. She wasn't all right and there was nothing anyone could do about it. She would try to pull herself through, that was all, and it didn't sound worth saying.
