M-A Block Hallway
[Coming from here.]
Daemon paid little attention to any of the doors he passed, taking no time to watch where he was going or check if there was anyone or anything in his way. His attention was completely focused on that one distant pulse, which was growing ever closer. He could feel her, she wasn't far away. After all this time.
It was all he could do not to just spend his magic and take down the walls that separated him from her in order to be there more quickly.
[Racing here.]

Ritsuka kept his flashlight off, even though it was dark out here. The messages from the radio and the intercom made him wary of tonight. If he was inclined to be scared off by such things, he would have been, but as it was, he and Soubi had work to do.
He really hoped Alfons and Miku were okay. And Hikaru and Kaoru for that matter. Things just didn't seem to be going anyone's way lately.
"The kid I met earlier, his name is Leon," Ritsuka said finally, as they cleared his hallway and moved into the main dorm hall. "He said he was born with only the cat ears, so we're not quite the same."

"You should have to be harmed because of my failures..." he eventually said. He kept his words quiet and easy, trying hard not to push the subject, just explain how he saw the world.
"What happens when he loses them naturally?" Soubi asked, perplexed. "His world must be different from our in a lot of ways... so perhaps Landels has another way of ridding people of things they deem 'unnatural' in their world?" He had to cling to hope. Ritsuka was still so small, to think that something like that could have happened to him... it hurt too much.

He waited for a moment, letting his words sink in and then stepped forward again. "It's not your failure."
He'd answer the next question when they got into the next hall.
