Main Hallway, 1-East

[From here.]

It didn't take long for Ururu to make it to the meeting place, since really, it was right outside her door. Maybe that's why she was the first one there. She shined her flashlight around slowly, thinking it was awfully dark and awfully quiet right now.

Maybe other people had been sleeping too, and just hadn't woken up in time.

Ururu moved over by the stairwell she thought Rangiku had meant, and watched the area around her with wide eyes. It wasn't that she didn't think she couldn't take care of herself, because she knew she could. It was just that everything looked so different at night, when it was dark, and she was alone.

And all of that put together really made everything seem scary.

"Oh..." Roland looked rather angry, or at least, she thought he looked a bit upset. But when he asked if she was going to be alright, she nodded. She should have been - though Naminé knew monsters prowled the patient halls, she could at least run into one of the rooms. Any room would do, as she imagined most people wouldn't be around.

But for some reason, Naminé wanted company. Not so much for the protection, but maybe she wouldn't feel so alone if the truth was that Soma really had disappeared.

"If you want to come with me," Naminé offered, hoping she wasn't being too forward.

That was what Roland had thought. Namine probably didn't have many people to rely on, especially now that Soma was gone... and besides, he knew how much it could hurt. Knowing that your friend was gone was one of the worst pains in the world, and meeting that alone wasn't something Roland would wish on anyone.

Though, a snide part of him wanted to add, there was an equal amount of cowardice in there. He'd already seen one friend die, perhaps he was looking for an excuse to have someone with him when the inevitable moment came. It was hard to say, even for Roland.

Roland accepted the offer with a nod and a forced smile. "Yeah, I wouldn't mind. If you'd lead the way?"

Roland's acceptance was greatly appreciated, and he could probably tell by the happy look on the young girl's face. Hopefully they would find some trace of Soma - a note perhaps, or maybe he was just sleeping. Knowing that someone was coming with her made her feel much better about the whole ordeal, in any case.

"Alright! His room is this way, I still remember his room number," Naminé smiled, leading the way as she went down the hall and turned to enter the hallway that lead to the M-blocks.
