If Claude had been listening, he would have definitely agreed that Dias could be "a little bit troublesome," might have even felt better to hear Ashton admit it. But he'd been zoning out, completely lost in the possibilities of what had happened to their little group. Ashton's voice was only a part of the general murmur of the cafeteria's comings and goings.

When he finally realized Ashton was talking to him, Claude rapidly blinked and looked over at his friend's face. "...Huh? Oh, yeah. Right."

Actually, he had no idea what he was saying "right" about. Hopefully it wasn't anything that'd bite him in the butt later, but he felt dumb asking Ashton to repeat himself right after instinctively agreeing to it. Plus Ashton looked awfully worried about something, and the blond didn't want to make him fret anymore.

"How've you been feeling?" he asked suddenly, wanting to steer the subject away from whatever it was they'd been talking about. "I mean...you holding up all right? This stuff can't be easy for you, I'm sure."
