Allen was quiet for a moment, his thoughts seemed a little slower than usual and finding the right answer was as bad as sloshing through mud. He knew he would do everything he could to keep her from being killed. It was too much. But he also was at a loss for what else to do about her. They couldn't spare the man-power to have a babysitter keep her locked up in her room every night when the nurses couldn't watch her.
