That conversation with Dias had started out awfully bumpy, but it sounded like things were kind of smoothed over, if only because Claude had insisted they drop the whole thing for now. After all, he knew from experience that he and Dias both had a terrible stubborn streak, and now seemed like the worst time to be arguing about something that was in the past.

As it turned out, the blond was pretty hungry by the time brunch rolled around. He was used to eating earlier in the day, so he was relieved when his time in the chapel came to an end. Favoring the breakfast items, he grabbed himself some silver dollar pancakes, a piece of french toast, and some English muffins before he paused to look for Ashton.

It was strange, not being able to rely on Gyoro and Ururun when it came to picking him out of the crowd. Without them, Ashton had a more understated aura about him. Which wasn't a bad thing by any means. (Claude tended to gravitate towards people like that anyway, as opposed to the loud, flashy types.) But It was still a challenge when looking through a room filled with people.

Finally, he found him, and he set his tray down on the table while giving his friend a cheery smile. "Good morning, Ashton," he said brightly. "How are you?" Without another word, he took a seat and began to chow down.
