Nightshift 28: Main Hallway, 2-West

Moving further down the hallway, Scar scanned his surroundings thoroughly, keeping his ears perked for any possible threats. There was only silence, but after confirming there were treats both outside and in the institute, the lion did not quite welcome the idea of being caught off guard. As a predator, he was the one that should be sneaking around and catchweak prey off guard, certainly not the other way around. By paying attention, Scar hoped he could compensate his lack of ability to move around properly.
They eventually reached the end of the hallway, but not before noting another. If he squinted, he could faintly make out the doors along the walls. At least from his current position. He wasn't quite sure, but this hallway must have some kind of dead end.
"As there appears to be a distinct lack of hallways to venture through after the following one, I suppose we could start with the doors?"

Glancing around and down the next hall, he gave one sharp nod of his head as the incarnation muttered. “We’ll never find anything simply snooping in the halls.” Without even a glance to his companion, the sword made his way down the next hall.
