Kyon was silent before he shrugged and said quietly, "Probably." He'd already tasted it in the experimentation room and it made his mind go numb. No, there was a pretty good chance he was going to be dependent on it. The doctor had seemed sure about that much. Fucking doctor.

He was surprised though, at Clark's reaction to the information. He didn't seem like he was going to drop him and run, nor did he seem worried. What did he have some kind of super strength or something? That was kind of reckless.

But, Kyon reasoned with himself, if he could keep control of himself, he would be fine. He could do that at least.
