Jack waved away Kougaiji's inquiries. "It's nothing, don't worry about it. I can handle it." He pointed to himself with a "thumbs up" gesture. "I can handle anything the universe can throw at me! No one here seems to recognize really just how AMAZING I am and that is going to come back to bite them in the ass."

For all his wounds, Jack still had his bravado.
