A needle wouldn't have fazed Riddick, but this one didn't even hurt at all. Haku definitely knew what he was doing; the Furyan felt better almost immediately. Still not great, but... better. He moved his arm back to the table when Haku seemed done, and nodded his thanks. He wanted to say more but Sparda's appearance made him think better of it. Besides... if anybody else was listening in right now...

Riddick took a deep breath and stared down at his food. He should probably eat. He didn't move for the moment, sorting the cobwebs out of his brain and finally making headway.
