It was times like this he had to wonder if he was the only damn person in this place who still cared about finding the fastest way home possible. Which probably wasn't true, but hell. Seeing as the only people he'd worked with so far had 'stealing books' as a goal or were setting up training nights, it was no damn wonder he was feeling more than a little pissed off about the whole thing.

But really, what it all boiled down to, everything that had been bothering him so far, was one simple fact. Raphael was homesick. He knew it too, would have been an idiot not to. He missed the city, the rumble of the subway felt distantly through the walls of their home, sneaking out for late night training sessions with his brothers where they ran across the rooftops playing tag or follow the leader. He missed the nights they'd spend drinking cocoa at April's place, talking all about the things they'd seen and done. But most of all he missed his family. He missed how Leo always had a plan of action and Donny had the tools for the job, while Mikey could keep things light and not too serious. Hell, he even missed Mikey's jokes and how often he talked about that stupid Battle Nexus trophy he'd won. But he didn't know where his brothers were or if they were even alive at all, if they'd been brought here as well and turned into something they weren't or if Karai had destroyed his family as well as his home.

It was the not knowing that hurt the worst, and Raphael had never been good at dealing with that kind of frustration. It made him want to find something, anything really, and just hit it. And keep on hitting it until things started making sense again or he came up with a way to actually leave this place or something.

And somehow he didn't think this little training session was going to help much there.

The next hallway looked only marginally different from the first. Boy, it was easy to get all mixed up in this goofy hospital! And Naruto hadn't seen a single med-nin come along to try and convince him to get back to bed and rest. It wasn't that he was complaining or anything, but wasn't that weird? Where the hell were the med-nin, anyway? You'd think that in the middle of the night after a ton of people got hurt, they'd all be busy...

Oh. Well, okay. They were all busy with people who were actually hurt! That made the most sense, and Naruto accepted that and pressed on.

Still, something was bugging him. Something was seriously screwed up about this whole thing, but he couldn't figure out what the "something" was. Maybe he was imagining it, but he really didn't think he was.

Now where was the exit?

Finally, the stairs. Bella sighed a sigh of relief once she hit the empty hallway, her flashlight cutting through the thick darkness as she looked around. She was alone in the stairwell, and because of such she knew that there was no time to waste.

She didn't even bother trying to run up the stairs, knowing that if she did she would trip. As it were she was amazed she hadn't fallen or tripped yet -

The moment she thought that her toe clipped the side of the stair and she let out a hiss of pain, hopping up and down for a few seconds before carrying on. All in all, a jammed toe was nothing compared to a broken leg.

The second floor. Bella couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief at the fact that she was almost done with her exploring adventure. Now, all she had to do was turn the corner and find the room she wanted, then head back down to Edward, and she'd be good to go.

Looking down at her map, Bella was interrupted by the sound of something metallic hitting the walls, as well as voices down the hallway. She froze for a moment, frowning. Was there a fight down the hallway? While curious, she knew she couldn't spend her time getting mixed up in a fight she would not win, and instead left the fight to itself. She only hoped whoever was down there would be okay.

"Right, okay. Almost there," she muttered to herself, moving towards the wall so she could place her hand against it, allowing her to feel when the wall curled away and led into the smaller hallway she was looking for. Then all that would be left would to count the doors until she found the one she was looking for.

It hadn't been the most graceful landing, but at least Prussia had landed on his feet without injury; a twisted ankle right now would not have been the best thing for his escape.

He picked up the torch from where it had landed, and took a moment to check out what lay ahead of him. The land was unfamiliar to him—even in the dark he would have recognized in an instant if it had been German land—and provided little clue as to which direction would be best to travel in. There were no paths, no roads on this side of the hospital or the side around the corner.

He decided to move along the wall for now, and started heading east. He'd see if there was anything compelling in that direction—some landmark he might recognize or a road or anything—and decide where to go from there.
