Nightshift 26: F25

The man on the radio and the... Head Doctor, Celes supposed, had finished their tired arguments and left Celes considering her options. First and foremost, she would be waiting for Larsa and his companion. Still, her curiosity ran thickest when the man on the radio said something about a fire monster.

Asleep, in ice... Well, certainly she had an idea, and the blonde woman ran her fingers through her hair, considering her options. There was also this thin, green-tressed girl to think about. Hmm. The General settled herself at her desk, legs crossed at the ankles, flashlight up-ended on her desk for light.

Hopefully, the wait would not be long.

((Hope this is okay-- :x))

Mion was... a little worried, at the strange voice on the radio. Nothing like what she'd seen and heard during the daytime, but then again that was what Rena had said was going to happen. She was sitting on her bed, flashlight in hand, and looked over at Celes.

"So... What happens now?" The future head of the Sonozaki asked quietly.

"Well... No, not really," Mion rubbed the back of her neck nervously. She thought on that for a moment and remembered her conversation with Rena during lunch. They hadn't gotten to meet up at all since that... "Well... There's someone I'd like to find, a friend of mine, but I have next to no idea where she could be."

"No... She was just telling me what this place's story was when lunch ended and a nurse split us up," explained Mion, rubbing her shoulder. Rena had been handling herself for three days without her or anyone from Hinamizawa though, if that part of what she had said was true. "I don't want to be a bother or anything, this old man could just wait it out here or something..."

"Ah... Do you think your friend will mind if I tag along with you guys for a little...?" asked Mion nervously. She was worried about Rena, yes, but running off her own would probably be very stupid, espescially without knowing anything.

Mion blinked at the questioning of her odd habit and looked at Celes curiously. "Yeah, I did."

"Alright, thanks. Oh, you don't have to call me Miss... Mion's fine," Mion blinked at the question. People were just used to the old man thing where she was from, so she really had never had to explain it. Or maybe they just accepted her as a weird girl, which was true in it's own right. Unable to give a good answer, Mion shrugged.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Lady Celes?" Larsa's voice called from behind the door. "It is I, Larsa. I apologize if we kept you waiting long."

After all, it was rude to have a woman wait no matter their rank or class. The child hoped that the blonde was not too aggravated by their current performance, especially since it felt as if a good deal of the night had already passed. He forced himself to suppress a sigh, hoping that was not the case and instead they would gain at least one fruitful night.

Noah was surprised to see the comely woman who opened the door, and not the girl he had been expecting. Giving a side glance to Larsa, he stepped forward to give the blonde woman a curt nod. He stepped forward, eyeing her as much as she did him. "Greetings, Lady Celes."

Truly, the young Lord knew no bounds.

"I am Larsa's guardian, Noah." He quickly introduced himself, wasting no time in following into the room behind Larsa. "What is it you require?"

Larsa glanced warily between the two, hoping their first impressions exceeded his expectations. He did his best to look as passive as ever before gazing curiously up at the woman at her request. It was then when he noted the young woman that was also in the room, gracing the other in a sheepish manner before speaking up.

"What is it that you wish of us, Lady Celes?"

((slakjasdlasd epic sorry for being late in tagging, school ate me and I didn't see the notif orz orz H-Hope it's okay for me to pop back in?))

Mion looked back and forth between the two people who had just entered, knowing from experience gained from sitting in on meetings with her family that it would probably be rude of her to speak up until it was, well, her turn to do so, so she merely stayed quiet and waited for Celes to answer... Larsa's, Mion thought he had said from outside, question.

This wouldn't be the first time he'd have to look after an entire group. It also wouldn't be the last. Judging from the appearance of the Lady Celes as well as her manner, she couldn't be any less than a woman of somewhat higher standing. Just what sort of standing was unclear, and it was doubtful her world even had the same caste system as Noah's own.

Shrugging off the thought, the judge looked from the girl to his own young Lord, giving a curt nod. "I see nothing wrong with it. Do you accept, Lord?" Truly doubtful the child would even think twice about accepting, and Noah had little reservations of his own for the accompanyment.

If the child had any inkling of what exactly invaded his guardian's thoughts, there would have been no doubt in his mind that he would've requested Gabranth to bend over before promptly punching him in the face. Alas, Larsa had not been graced with the gift of telepathy, and so he stood there ever so oblivious.

At Celes's request the young lord found himself shaking his head, glancing over at said woman once more and offered another smile. "I've no qualms about Lady Mion joining."
