Nightshift 26: Entry Room
[From here]
The location beyond the doors was one not yet known to Xemnas, which was all the more reason for the Nobody to investigate it. After opening the door quietly, he swept his flashlight across the room. There seemed to be no immediate threat present thus far. It was on this very moment the radio decided to make its first broadcast, yet the Superior found nothing of immediate interest. He didn't knew the institute's layout well enough, after all.
Carefully stepping further inside the room while closing the door softly behind him, he took the time looking at his new surroundings. The floor was made of carpet while the walls were a shade of blue, yet they hardly held any interest. Two desks stood in front of two doors. There were more doors on the west and east side respectively, along with a single one across the one he had entered through.
He wondered what waited beyond all these doors, provided they could be opened, of course.

The air around Xemnas - heavy already - suddenly grew denser, thicker. As though the oxygen was slowly seeping away.

Not noticing any immediate treats - yet still on his guard - he resumed what he was doing previously, until the air seemingly grew denser. Breathing was becoming more difficult by the minute.
Perhaps there was something lurking within this room after all..
[ooc; sorry for the slowness]

Demyx definitely hadn't been here before. He was contemplating turning right back around when the door closed behind him. It wasn't even hard, but since Demyx hadn't been expecting it he jumped up.
It was when he was trying to catch his breath that he noticed how thick the air had become. Wow, this was really difficult. Was that also... laughing?
He looked around quickly, his brain sending him headache pains in protest to the lack of air and his frenzied movement. During this he caught sight of the other occupant of the room.
"Superior?" he questioned, hoping that his eyes were deceiving him. His mind must be a little fuzzy with the air in here, that was all. That couldn't really be the Superior. But if it was then he really hoped the Superior didn't think he was a traitor. Xigbar had warned him of that. Should he get on his knees and grovel now? No, what he really wanted to do was lie down on the floor and sleep...

"Ah, number IX. What brings you here?" he questioned, his voice sounding a little hoarse due to the lack of air within this room. The joyful laughter grew louder, indicating something was most definitely lurking within the darkness, stealing away the oxygen. Though what could it be? What was the very creature capable of such?
As if on cue, the faint outline of a little girl passed the beam of his flashlight before disappearing in the shadows.

"Err, nothing rea--Woah, what was that?!" Something had just darted out in front of them. Demyx began searching the room with his flashlight, the light darting back and forth erratically in his panic.
He slowed his flailing a bit, the effort tiring him. Man, if they didn't get out of here soon then... well, he didn't know what would happen!
Hey, that was right! They could just leave! "Uh, Superior..." he began, "maybe we should find a room that's a bit easier to talk in." He motioned to the door.

Xemnas was just about to turn his attention back to the door when a cold breeze came from its direction. He took note of the icy, ominous nature of the air, yet it didn't frighten him. After all, a being who lacked his very essence could hardly be capable of a primal emotion such as "fear".
Yet, the spirit still seemed to rob the very air away from this room, therefore it wouldn't be wise to remain here any longer. Even despite the little girls' obvious protests, he reached out for the door handle. If it lay within the spirit's capabilities to hinder them any further, they would discover soon enough.

He stayed back as Xemnas reached for the door. The spirit didn't seem terribly strong, other than the fact that it was sucking all the air out of the room in attempts to kill them. But Demyx still wasn't going to take his chances after the previous night. This little girl could do more damage than she was letting on.

She approached Xemnas and touched her lips to his, trying to suck all of the air out of his lungs.

However, it didn't mean Xemnas appreciated being kissed by a ghost. Especially if it somehow involved ridding the lungs of the very air within. The organs in question began to ache as they fought to regain oxygen, but failing. How he managed to locate the door handle while nearly suffocating was beyond him, but he did and turned it immediately.
Fortunately for Xemnas, the door wasn't locked.
