Day 26 Nightshift: Hallway Outside of F & M Blocks
[[ from here. ]]
Just a bit further now, just a bit further into the woods before the wolf would pounce on her. At least he wouldn't be wearing her grandmother's clothes this time. That ruse was always so irritating, not to mention amateur of a skilled assassin.
But wolves had never been proper assassins anyway. The steel blade was pointed and flew.

Sousuke came out of the door in a blink, pole over his shoulder. He stopped and surveyed his surroundings--he was sure that he'd seen a stairwell somewhere around here...
Wait... was that Robin? "Hood-san?" Sousuke called tentatively, approaching the two men slowly. He couldn't see very well in the dark, and he only assumed the other two couldn't as well. He'd seen far too many battlefield accidents consisting of fellow soldiers sneaking up on each other. He wasn't about to startle Robin and the other man and cause himself injury.

Robin turned to see his his new friend and club member.
"Hood-san? Ah, hello! How's it going? You can just call me Robin," he winked, even though it was dark. "Any luck finding out about your friend yet?"

When asked if he was a fighter, the rurouni turned to Robin and shrugged. "This one can hold his own." Kenshin had never really been one to boast. The less people knew about his past, the better. He would protect all those within his sight at any cost, but he wouldn't kill.
Any further conversation was interrupted by the arrival of a young man from further down the hallway. "Ah, hello there." Kenshin smiled and bowed politely, waiting to be introduced.

Sousuke looked over at Kenshin, eying his scar with an odd expression. It looked eerily similar to the one he had on his jaw. "But, if I'm interrupting something, I will leave you two to your mission."

"I'm glad. I will, of course, be on hand to protect those around me, but it helps to know they have a chance without me." If it had sounded smug, that wasn't Robin's intention. It was his nature to protect those around him. But it was a lot easier when he was around fighters. Less to worry about, fewer chances of accidents. And a lot less guilt...
"The night is young," he reassured his friend. "Come along with us! The more the merrier! This is Mister Kenshin. Mister Kenshin, meet Mister Sousuke."

Ah. He knew there was a reason he liked this person! The similar sentiments were certainly refreshing. "No, this one doesn't think you'll have to worry," he laughed.
Turning to the boy, the rurouni bowed as he was introduced. "A pleasure, Sousuke-dono. There's no interruption! As...Robin has said, the more the merrier."
Plus, the boy's scar intrigued him.

"I would be honored to join you tonight," Sousuke said, pulling his mask over his face again. "But my only request is that we move quickly--my charge could be undergoing torture right now, and it would be best for everyone involved if it was kept to a minimum."
