Scar pulled himself together, catching his breath and looking to Alphonse briefly.

"Are you all right?" He didn't know what he ought to do with his sword- leave it, and run the risk that she would grab it? Or hold onto it and risk hurting somebody? Scar squinted against the sudden light of Al's attack as he looked over the younger Elric to make sure he was unharmed.

In the end, he only held onto his flashlight, kicking the sword to the side for the moment as he turned his focus to Edward and the girl. She certainly was light on her feet...
