Night 66: Main Hallway, 1-Center

Here it was. Skulduggery wasn't around yet, but Rita expected he would show up soon. He'd been punctual up until now.

If what she'd been hearing was right, she was going to need to look out for both monsters and patients tonight. Seemed simple enough. Rita stood with her back against the wall opposite to the Sun Room doors, and waited.

The minutes passed, and eventually someone did come… but not for Rita. That had to be the girl that guy had mistaken Rita for. With nothing else to do, she couldn’t help but overhear parts of their conversation. Ishida Uryuu… She met him just earlier that day. So he’d been taken. Rita wondered for a moment if the same thing had happened to the old man.

Well, whatever, he was more than old enough to take care of himself. Rita had waited long enough. It was time to go.
