Day 63: Tasty Burger (Late Afternoon)

A hamburger and fries. It was exactly what the doctor ordered. Still not pizza--he had to wait until Wednesday for that--but greasy fast food was something he still couldn't get enough of after all these years without. His stomach still wasn't used to it, but all that would take was training. Lots and lots of training.

Needless to say, Mike was in a fairly good mood as he walked in to grab his burger. He was even going to get ice cream with it. There was even a bit of a bounce in his step, would have probably a bit creepy coming from a heavily scarred man with half a left arm missing if he had been smiling along with it. Well, he was smiling, but only a little, and most people wouldn't even call it that. Just enough to alleviate any chance of a creepy factor, although Mike wasn't even thinking about it nor did he care.

He just wanted his Tasty Burger.

So, he stood in line and waited, shifting his weight from foot to foot every now and then. Man. Why couldn't they hurry up?

[For Johnny!]

Johnny hadn't moved from the seat he'd taken up when he'd gotten his own food and although his 'lunch mate' had long since left, the vampire didn't see any point in heading back out just yet. He could tell it was cold if the drop off in number of people in the street was any indication and he wasn't looking to freeze for no reason. It was warm in here and the smells were inviting enough...besides, there were plenty of people to watch from this vantage point; like that man who had just walked in. He seemed in a good mood, if his body language was anything to go on, and it made Johnny smile.

It seemed nearly everyone he'd been meeting was somewhat somber- understandable considering their circumstances but, really, they could have been a little more cheery- and this man seemed to break that trend.

And that was enough to catch his cat-like curiosity. Now...did he wait for the man to look for a table or did he go and question him now? Decisions, decisions...

Leaning forward onto his elbows and placing his chin in his hands, Johnny decided to wait for him to sit, then he'd make his move. Maybe he'd be lucky and the man would choose to sit with him, though Johnny wasn't about to hold his breath on that one. Either way, he'd make do~
