Day 63: Doyleton, Late Afternoon
The sun sank closer to the horizon as an evening haze fell across the small town. Although the wind's force had died down considerably in the past hour, its chill factor had increased, forcing more and more of the Doyleton residents to grudgingly head indoors. By late afternoon, there was barely anyone on the streets; those still running their errands had taken shelter in a nearby business or had long since headed home.
The nurses, however, did not seem to mind the drop in temperature as they had for the earlier winds. They simply advised patients to go indoors if they found the cold uncomfortable. For now, they had no other intentions.
For now, at least.
